Taking its inspiration from the photography featured in the “Heroes of Horticulture” exhibit at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art, this concert covers terrain ranging from Edward MacDowell's "Woodland Sketches" to Vaughan Williams’ “Along the Field.” Artists include Glenn Siebert, tenor; Peter Kairoff, piano; Jacqui Carrasco, violin; and Elizabeth Ransom, flute.

  • Woodland Sketches for piano solo by Edward MacDowell
  • From an Old Garden for voice and piano by Edward MacDowell
  • Along the Field for violin and voice by Ralph Vaughan Williams
  • Promenades for flute, violin and piano by Bohuslav Martinu
