The music swings and the poetry brings...

This beatnik jazz and poetry party will cool everyone. The jazz group led by Matt Kendrick will be swinging through such great standard jazz tunes such as “The Days of Wine and Roses” with poet Joe Mills reading his work, including selections from his Press53 book “Angels, Thieves, and Winemakers”.

The evening begins with a cash bar featuring wines from Hanover Park Vineyard, a noted Yadkinville winery. The concert portion of “Jazz, Poetry, and Wine” will take place at 8 p.m.

The event is presented by the Carolina Chamber Symphony Players, Press 53, Hanover Park Vineyard, and Old Salem Museums and Gardens.
