Meet the Musicians . . .
Jennifer Alexandra Johnston, cello
Jennifer Alexandra Johnston has an active career as a performer with many orchestras in the Southeast. A member of the Carolina Chamber Symphony, the Fibonacci Chamber Orchestra, the Winston-Salem Symphony, and the Greensboro Symphony, she plays regularly with the symphonies of Charleston, South Carolina and Roanoke, Virginia, and has performed with the North Carolina Symphony and the Savannah Symphony in Georgia. She also recently served as Acting Principal ‘Cello for the Mansfield (OH) Symphony and participated in the Shenandoah Bach Festival in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She holds Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from the North Carolina School of the Arts, where she was a student of Robert Marsh, his teaching assistant, and a Giannini Scholar.
