CCSP presents My Funny Valentine to be held at Jon Kuhn Studio Gallery

Treat someone special to a special concert, a collection of love songs from the great American songbook by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, and others. Performed by some of North Carolina's finest jazz musicians in the stunning Jon Kuhn Studio Gallery in Winston-Salem. Martha Bassett, vocals; Federico Pivetta, piano; Matt Kendrick, bass, and John Wilson, drums, perform. Tickets are selling fast, so get yours now!


WDAV-FM 89.5 to feature some selections from the 2011 Carolina Summer Music Festival on CarolinaLive.

The January 20-24, 2012 show will include selections from “A Salon Evening in Vienna” (Chamber arrangements by Arnold Schoenberg). The two pieces included are "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun" by Claude Debussy, and the "Emperor Waltz" by Johann Strauss, Jr. We encourage our fans to listen to CarolinaLive to hear the festival’s performances. The show will be heard in the Charlotte region on WDAV 89.8 FM and on WDAV.org Friday, 1/20/12 at 7 PM. It will be heard on the classical stations of South Carolina ETV Radio (WLTR 91.3FM in Columbia, WEPR 90.1 FM in Greenville/Spartanburg; and WSCI 89.3FM in Charleston) on Sunday, 1/22/12 at 6 AM and again on Tuesday, 1/24/12 at 7 PM. You can also access CarolinaLive audio at carolinalive.org a few days after it airs on WDAV.
